  1. Del Amitri ~ Some Other Suckers Parade (Import) petherronestdetigoodreleveamarmeo.xyzinfo "I don't have my finger on the pulse of my generation / I just got my hand on my heart," sings Justin Currie on "Not Where It's At," the opening song from Del Amitri's fourth album/5(13).
  2. Indeed, Some Other Suckers Parade is an album of classic Del Amitri music - mature guitar-pop with a focus on song craft with relatable lyrics. The band apparently took the approach of recording everything but the vocals live in the studio, something gives Some Other Suckers Parade a bit of vitality and grit about it, something so often lacking.

  6. Even if this CD isn't up to the Dels' usual standard, it's still Del Amitri, which ain't bad at all. 8/8/Since initially reviewing this CD, I've changed my mind about it not being up to Del Amitri's usual standard! It is, too, brilliant. And powerful. It should have at least a 4-star rating, perhaps even the full /5(22).
  7. i have two deli amitri albums this and "some other suckers parade" two of the best pop/rock album of the 90's i can't decide what album i like best it changes every couple of weeks but i'll tell you, you can't get any closer to an perfect masterpiece of an album than this, get it now,/5(37).
  8. Del Amitri's fifth studio album really deserves another listen. And then several others. 'Some Other Sucker's Parade' is not as immediately catchy as 'Twisted' or the unsurpassed 'Change Everything' but patience (this is one of those albums that gets better with repeated listenings) will reveal an album full of poetic lyrics (Justin Currie is one the greatest songwriters of the last 20 years /5(24).
